Nexters is teaming up with the OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO to support Social Supermarket with a charitable inititiative

The 14th OPAP Limassol Marathon is glad to take part in a special inititiative, made possible solely with the help of Nexters.

In a humanitarian move, Nexters has announced the charity initiative, titled “You Run! We Donate”. The company is offering €1 for each runner who finishes the 14th OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO, scheduled to take place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd, March 2020. The total amount of money raised will be donated to the needs of Limassol Social Supermarket.

Nexters’ Chief Administrative Officer, Kiriakos Paphitis, said he was pleased to support the 14th OPAP Limassol Marathon, one of the largest sporting events on the island, promoting health, fitness and sport: “Our company, in terms of corporate social responsibility, has been supporting such efforts, which promote sport as a part of daily life, for some time now”.

He suggested that Nexters, with the generous initiative of “You Run! We Donate”, wants to send the message of unity, humanity and solidarity by helping the Limassol Social Supermarket and practically assisting those in need. The more athletes finish the Marathon route, the more money will be donated by Nexters to help Limassol’s Social Supermarket. Finally, he wished for this year’s Marathon to attract even more sports fans and to contribute to the expansion and promotion of this wonderful event.
